FOREST BATHING

The goal of Forest Bathing (also known as Forest Therapy) is to provide restorative physical, mental and spiritual health benefits inspired by the Japanese practice, Shinrin-Yoku. This is accomplished through guided walks, awakening the senses and cultivating a deep and meaningful connection with nature. Numerous research studies worldwide over the course of the past 28 years confirm the health benefits of forest bathing; these include reduced blood pressure, anxiety, depression and cortisol levels, elevated mood and improved immune system response, sharpened mental focus, stimulate creative thought, and problem solving.
